The Model 1806 Shako (1806-10)

The standard french pattern shako worn by infantry and cavalry alike.

A hand blocked single fur felt body with moulded vegetable dyed leather top. 176mm high and 230mm wide with a 41mm turndown edge.
Leather side chevrons, 18mm wide and a 20mm base with rear buckle. Sheep (Basan) leather liner with silk head adjuster.
Painted 70mm silvered copper cocade, gilt brass chinscales and 40mm gilt side bosses. Gilt copper peak edging.

Gold/Silver mylar caplines with flounders &bullion fringe tassels.
Gilt copper 1806 diamond plate
12" hackle feather plume

Entirely hand made and hand sewn with linen and silk threads in the UK.
