The Model 1806 Shako (1806-10)

The standard french pattern shako worn by infantry and cavalry alike.

A hand blocked single felt body with moulded vegetable dyed leather top. 176mm high and 230mm wide with a 41mm turndown edge.
Leather side chevrons, 18mm wide and a 20mm base with rear buckle. Sheep (Basan) leather liner with linenhead adjuster.
Painted 70mm leather cocade, brass chinscales and 40mm brass side bosses.

1806 diamond plate, worsted caplines and 9" hackle feather plume

Entirely hand made and hand sewn with linen threads in the UK.
